Virginia M. Azotea
November 21, 1925 — July 18, 2024
Virginia M. (Bickford) Azotea of Boscawen, NH, passed away on Thursday, July 18th, 2024. She was born in Concord, the daughter of the late Howard and Belle (Richardson) Bickford.
Virginia was a dedicated Assistant Shipping Clerk at Sprague Electric for 32 years. She was also a former member of the Chichester Congregational Church and a longtime member of the Chichester grange.
She is survived by her son Barry L. Bickford of Methuen, MA, granddaughter Michelle and her husband Robert Flaherty of Methuen, MA, great granddaughter Isabella Flaherty, and great granddaughter Samantha Flaherty both of Methuen, MA, half sister Beverly LeBrecque of Epsom and her close friends Susan and Randall Manning of Vermont.
Virginia was predeceased by her mother and father, her husband Robert J. Azotea, half brother James Bickford, and half sister Lennie Payeur.
A graveside service will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements are being handled by Smart Memorial Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 15 Constitution Dr., Suite 1G, Bedford, NH 03110.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
