Stephanie Barber Osbourne-Young

Stephanie Barber Osbourne-Young, age 71, of Franklin, NH, passed away on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on May 28th, 1953 in Hartford, CT to the late Fred W. Barber and Cynthia (Weaver) Barber. Stephanie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, James A. Young of Franklin, her son, Scott Malloch and his fiancée Gabrielle Burhoe of Franklin, grandchildren Brice Malloch, Cynthia Malloch and Kayla and her husband Ryan Poulin, great-grandchildren Bruce Malloch and Teddy James Poulin, her step-son Brian Young of Gilmanton and her sister Patricia Sojka of Corning, NY.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, her first husband, Bruce Malloch and her second husband, Richard Osbourne, her brother, Paul McDermott and her step son Steven.

Stephanie was a dedicated paraprofessional at Franklin High School, where she touched the lives of many students. She was a graduate of Fairfield Community College in CT and was actively involved in the Hope Community Chapel in Franklin, NH. Stephanie enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, spending time with her family and was always a caregiver to those in need.

Visitation will be held at Hope Community Chapel in Franklin, NH on Saturday, August 24th, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Arrangements are being handled by the Smart Memorial Home in Tilton and condolences may be left at www.smartmemorialhome.com .

Stephanie will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
