Shirley (Tucker) Hill

Shirley (Tucker) Hill passed away peacefully at her home September 7, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Plymouth in 1939 to Raymond Tucker and Leona Gilpatric, Shirley attended Bridgewater Elementary School and graduated from Bristol High School. She married Glenwood (Blakie) Hill in 1958 and they had two children, George and Melody.
Shirley had a big smile and a soft heart. She also had a powerful singing voice, perfectly pitched, and loved country music. She spent most of her adult life working at Freudenberg-NOK, a/k/a “the mill” and when she wasn’t working she enjoyed reading, attending sporting events, and spending time with her family.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Marilyn Kimball, her brother, Robert Tucker, her children George Hill and his wife Ruby, Melody Moulton and her husband Harry; grandchildren Marissa Tapply, Patrick Hill, Lauren Moran, Farran, Aidan, and Eva Hill; great grandchildren Brody and Callie Hill, Ricky and Matthew Moran, and David and Gabriel Farr, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She joins her beloved grandson, Marcus Moulton, her husband Blakie, and the Mumma and Daddy she so adored.
