Sanbornton Sheila Bolton Livingstone 1/13/1942-5/3/2015 Sheila B. Livingstone of Sanbornton passed away on Sunday morning, May 3, after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Alex, of Sanbornton; two sons, Alexander Leslie, 46, of Sanbornton and Barry, 44, of Plymouth; daughter-in-law Angela, grand-daughter Caylee Anne, older brother David, 76, of Leicester, U.K., and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Livingstone was the fourth child of Richard Leslie and Lillian Wharmby Bolton of Liverpool, U.K. Mrs. Livingstone attended nursing school at St. Catherine�s Hospital in Birkenhead, U.K., immigrated to the United States in 1964, proudly becoming a US citizen in early July 1976. Her first job in the US was at Lynn (MA) Hospital, and over the years worked at Choate Hospital in Woburn, MA; and several places in New Hampshire including Franklin Regional Hospital, Merrimack County Nursing Home, and the Peabody home where she was well loved by patients and colleagues alike. Mrs. Livingstone enjoyed knitting and ceramics, and loved doing the daily crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed traveling to see her sons perform in concerts and stage shows, and she became quite a Red Sox fan. She enjoyed making several trips back to England to see family, and saw a good portion of the United States as well, including Florida, California, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. A Celebration of Sheila's life will be held from 1PM to 3PM on Saturday, May 16,�2015 at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 W. Main St.), Tilton, New Hampshire.
