It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sandra S. (Shaw) Miller, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, on her 84th birthday, Friday, November 14th, 2025. Sandra was born in Franklin, NH, on Friday, November 14th, 1941, and resided in Salisbury, NH, bringing joy and kindness to countless lives.

Sandra was predeceased by her husband, William J. Miller III, her son, Jeffrey Miller, her parents, Bernard and Marjorie (Stott) Shaw, and her sister, Carol Cote. Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Heidi Miller and her husband Joe Yacono and Heather Fritzky and her husband Ken Gosselin, and her son Greg Miller and his wife Kim. She is also survived by her siblings, brothers David and Gene Shaw, and sister Sue Nelson. Also mourning her loss are her grandchildren, Todd and his wife Meagan Miller, Taylor and her husband Matt Demers, Megan Fritzky, and Danielle Fritzky. Sandra's legacy of love extends to her great-grandchildren, Chloe and Mason Miller and Cole and Avery Demers. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins who adored her.

Sandra dedicated her professional life as an employee in the Division of Personnel for the State of New Hampshire. Her commitment extended far beyond her career, as she actively participated in various clubs and committees for both the town and church. Her community recognized her many contributions, honoring her as Salisbury Citizen of the Year in 2005.

The family invites friends and loved ones to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, November 21st, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Smart Memorial Home, 584 West Main St. in Tilton, NH. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm, where we will celebrate Sandra's life and the profound impact she had on those around her.

The family would like to express deep gratitude to the staff at the Merrimack County Nursing Home where Sandy received excellent care while she was a resident there.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra’s memory may be made to the Activities Fund at the Merrimack County Nursing Home or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, reflecting her giving spirit and compassion for those in need.

Sandra will be eternally missed but never forgotten. Her laughter, kindness, and unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her
