Ruth Hildur (Sahlin) Olsen

Sanbornton Ruth H. (Sahlin) Olsen Ruth H. Olsen, 92, of Maple Grove, MN and Sanbornton, NH, went to be with the Lord, Fri Oct 14, 2016. Ruth especially loved her family, her church, and playing the piano. She was preceded in death by her husband: Rodney Olsen and siblings: Clarence Sahlin, Alice Carlson, and Carl Sahlin. Ruth will be sadly missed by her children: Dan (Ina) Olsen, Karen (Doug) Rood, Anita (Tom) Larson, Joanne (Charles) Howard, and Carl Olsen; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sister: June Leer; sisters-in-law: Dolores and Jackie; nephews, nieces, and other family members. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Sanbornton Union Cemetery in Sanbornton, at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow. Assisting with local arrangements would be the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home in Tilton.
