Rose J. (Lamattina) Fredette

Franklin, NH Rose J. (LaMattina) Fredette Rose J. Fredette, 84, a longtime resident of Franklin passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen following a long illness. Rose was born in Boston, September 18, 1931, daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria (Cesario) LaMattina. Rose lived in Sanbornton with her late husband before moving to Franklin. A homemaker, she also enjoyed working as a waitress at the Weeks' and Favorites' Restaurants in Franklin, making wonderful friends with many people over the years. She attended St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Tilton for several years with her husband. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Willard "Bill" H. Fredette Sr., a sister, Concetta Cravotta and brother, Ignazio LaMattina. She leaves, her son, Willard H. Fredette Jr. daughters, Elaine Danyew, Maria Serra and Patricia Mullen 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren brother, Rocco LaMattina and sister, Maryann Vargus numerous nieces and nephews Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 West Main Street) in Tilton, NH. A committal service will be held Wednesday, December 23rd at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 D.W. Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303. Rose's family sends a special thank you to the staff at the Merrimack County Nursing Home for the wonderful love and care given to Rose during her stay, and the compassion to her family prior to her death. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Rose's name be sent to the Activities Fund, MCNH, 325 D.W. Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.
