Roger E. Lyons

Roger E. Lyons, 64, a resident of Tilton since 2020 and a resident of NH since 1985, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. He was born on May 1, 1958 in Bloomsburg, PA the son of Thurman D. Lyons Sr. and Jennie B. (Shaylor) Lyons.
Roger was a graduate of Concord High School, class of 1999. He has been employed as a Materials Handler at Osram Sylvania in Hillsboro for 11 years until his retirement in 1996.
He was predeceased by his parents. His family includes his wife of 44 years, Cathy A. (Walsh) Lyons of Tilton, his two daughters, Jennifer L. Lyons (Jose) of Weare and Brandie D. Lyons of Bennington, his three granddaughters, Kierstin (Ron), Samantha and Liliana and his great granddaughter, Melody. He is also survived by his brother, Emerson L. Lyons Sr. of Swanzey.
A graveside service for Roger will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 12 noon at the Franklin Cemetery, Thompson Park in Franklin. A reception will follow at the Congregational Christian Church, 25 South Main St. in Franklin.
Memorial donations in memory of Roger may be made to Donate Life America or to the Heart Brothers Foundation in Marlborough, MA. Roger would also appreciate your considering Organ donation as he was a recipient of a heart in 2013. Thank you.
