Robert Richard Hoey

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Richard Hoey, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Robert was born on Sunday, May 26th, 1946, in Metuchen, NJ, and peacefully departed this world on Friday, September 6th, 2024, at Epsom Manor - Epsom. Robert, a dedicated Conductor for Springfield Terminal Railroad, devoted over 30 years of his life to his profession. His work ethic was unparalleled, often holding down two jobs to provide for his family. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army and an active member of the American Legion Post #49 in Northfield. Robert's family was the light of his life. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Hoey; his son, Robert N. Hoey; his daughter, Caroline A., and her husband, Jonathan Rolfe; and his cherished grandchildren, Westley Rolfe, Hayden Hoey, and Nathaniel Hoey. He also leaves behind his loving sister, Agnes Skowronek of PA. His father, William P. Hoey, and mother, Ann Hoey, preceded him in death. A...
