Robert Eugene Clairmont

Loudon Robert Eugene Clairmont Robert "Bob" E. Clairmont, 79, died June 20, 2017 at his brother's home in Loudon following a short period of failing health. Bob was born in Laconia, May 6, 1938, son of the late Wilfred J. and Alfreda (McKenven) Clairmont. At a young age his parents moved the family to California where he resided for many years. He was an educator and taught in Washington State and for many years taught with the Fullerton School District in Fullerton, CA. Following his retirement Bob moved from California to Arizona, living there until his recent move to Loudon. He especially enjoyed the outdoors and had great knowledge of flowers, preferring to plant flowers, flowering bushes and trees from seed. He leaves, his partner of 52 years, Merlin Tiede, now of Loudon his brother, Norman W. Clairmont and his wife Kathleen of Windham his brother, James A. Clairmont and his wife Valerie of Loudon Numerous generational family members Following the wishes of Bob, there are no public calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Clairmont family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Laconia. Assisting with arrangements is the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home in Tilton.
