Robert "Bob" A Smart
April 24, 1946 — January 24, 2023
Robert A. Smart, Northfield, NH, 76, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 after declining health. He was born in Lebanon NH raised in South Bend, Indiana. He moved back to NH in 1962, graduating from Concord High School in 1964.
In his early life he worked in sales and became General Manager for Fitts Photo and Hobby Store in Framingham, MA. Bob worked for John Hancock which led to him owning his own Property and Casualty Insurance Company for several years. He moved back to NH in 1988 owning a cleaning business.
Bob was an avid photographer, loved going to Bruins games, motorcycling and boating with his son.
Bob was predeceased by his father Irving Smart Sr, his mother Lora Carr, and his sister Shirley Reddricks.
Robert is survived by his loving family, wife Sharon (Faucher), son Todd Smart and his wife Susan, his grandchildren Samantha Smart and her husband Greg Cyr. Cody Smart and future wife Sabrina Szepanski, brother Irving Smart Jr and wife Mary, several nieces and nephews.
No services will be held, a celebration of life will be determined.
