Rhoda Louise Ardiff

Rhoda Louise Ardiff, 89, of Penacook, NH, passed away peacefully at Concord Hospital on October 26, 2024, Surrounded by her family.
She was born in Springfield, MA on May 2, 1935 and was the daughter of John M. Sr. and Ferris Louise (Titus) Taylor. She was predeceased by her brother, John M. Taylor Jr of San Antonio, TX.
She was a graduate of the High School of Commerce, Springfield, MA in1953 before marrying and raising a family in Longmeadow, MA.
She was an accomplished alto singer and soloist in her younger years and was a member in the church choirs of both the First Church of Christ and St. Andrews Episcopal Church, also in Longmeadow.
She spent most of her career in the medical field as a certified nursing assistant while in Western MA and NH as well as an Office Manager at Echo Hill Townhomes leasing and Real Estate in Amherst, Mass before moving to Palm Beach County in FL. She worked for many years at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach in the ER as a nursing assistant and spent her final years working in the Comprehensive Breast Center of the Palm Beaches, also at Good Samaritan, as a patient / doctor liaison before retiring.
She loved the holidays, old TV westerns, crossword puzzles, watching golf and figure skating, her brother John and wife Betsi, cats Tanner and Molly and most of all, her family.
Always a quick wit who loved to laugh even at her expense, she was full of wisdom and life experiences that helped shape all of us who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah Hart (David) of Northampton, MA and Carolyn Quimby (Ross) of Webster, NH and a son Scott T. Ardiff of Lake Worth, FL. Grandchildren Kendra, Christopher, Jordan, Kristen, Kelly, Connor, Andrew and Kimberly as well as 8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson
Memorial arrangements are being made by the family along with services provided by Smart Memorial Home, Tilton, NH.
and Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Springfield, MA.
