Laconia Pauline Lowell Fogarty Pauline Lowell Fogarty, 89, passed in her home surrounded by her loving family after a brave battle with cancer on Friday�April 18, 2014. Pauline was�a resident of Laconia since 1955. Pauline was born in Andover, March 18, 1925, daughter of Harry C. and Elizabeth S. (Keniston) Taylor. She graduated from the former Andover High School, class of 1944. Pauline lived in Northfield for 8 years before moving to Lakeport. She retired in 1987 as a psychiatric aide from the Laconia State School where she was employed for over 23 years. Pauline was active with the Lakeport�Community Association. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Sanbornton, always available with that helping hand. Pauline was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Carleton D. Fogarty who passed in 1998. She was also predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. Her family includes,sons, Bruce D. Fogarty of Sanbornton, Dale V. Fogarty of Sanbornton, and�Brett J. Fogarty of Lakeport. Daughters, Kathleen Fogarty-Rice of Millington, TN, Sharon Lee Frazier of New Hampton, and Carleen Rae Fontaine of Tilton. 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren Her brother Maurice G. Taylor of Unity and sisters, Geraldine Sargent of Belmont and Emily LaPlante of Lochmere, numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 23rd from 11:00 A. M. to 1:00 P.M. at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road in Tilton.A graveside service, with burial, will follow in the family lot in Lakeside Cemetery in East Andover.Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Pauline's name to the Central New Hampshire VNA and Hospice, 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
