Norma Mae Danforth, resident of Laconia, NH, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of 85. She was born in Laconia, NH on Friday, October 21, 1938. Norma is survived by her loving spouse of 68 years George “Jumbo” F. Danforth, her two daughters Cindy Danforth and Nicole Anderson and her husband William, and her two sons Rick Danforth and his wife Deborah and Larry Danforth. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael Danforth, Eric Danforth and his wife Jen, Deric Danforth, Randy Danforth, Joshua Samson, Nicholas Samson and his wife Angie, and Brittany Sullivan and her husband Sean, as well as 16 great-great grandchildren.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Bertha (Perkins) Boissonnault, and her 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Norma worked as a housekeeper at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia and prior to that, she and her husband owned and operated George's Diner in Meredith, NH and City Taxi, a taxi service in Laconia for many years. She enjoyed doing puzzles, going to yard sales, shopping and anything Elvis. Spending time with her family was the most important thing to her, whether it was going on Harley rides or dancing to 50's music with her husband George, being together made her happy.
According to Norma’s wishes there will be no services held.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
