Nancy L. (Scott) Sleeper

Franklin Nancy L. (Scott) Sleeper Nancy L. Sleeper, 66, a resident of Franklin since 2007 died at her home, Wednesday, February 18, 2015 following a period of failing health. Nancy was born in Concord, March 15, 1948, daughter of the late, Earl E. Scott Sr. and Elizabeth M. (Hoar) Scott. Nancy graduated from Simonds Free High School in Warner, class of 1966. She was a longtime resident of the Northfield-Tilton Areas before moving to Franklin. Over the years she was employed in administrative work with the N. H. State Prison System, and at the Havenwood Community in Concord. She later worked in the stock room at Walmart. Nancy was active with the Ladies Auxiliary, America Legion Post # 49 in Northfield and VFW Post # 1698 in Franklin, always available for volunteer work. She leaves, her husband of 20 years, George W. Sleeper of Franklin her daughter, Michele Denaris of Durham, NC brothers, Dennis and Alan and sisters, Cheryl and Patti According to Nancy's wishes, there are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen with burial following. Arrangements are under the care of the William F Smart Sr. Memorial Home, in Tilton.
