Northfield - Nancy A. Cullen, 80, a longtime resident of Northfield, passed away peacefully at her home on August 29th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born on August 4, 1944 in Concord, NH, the daughter of the late Frank and June (Fortune) Page. She was employed by Wyman and Gordon in Tilton, NH until her retirement in 2010. She was also a faithful parishioner for many years at St. Mary of The Assumption in Tilton.
Nancy lost her husband of 52 years, Richard Cullen Sr, just 19 days before her passing. She cared for him while struggling herself with the effects of Dementia. After her husband's passing, Nancy left this earth to be reunited with her husband once again.
In her spare time, Nancy could always be found in her yard tending to her multitude of flower beds and her lawn. She had a passion for gardening like no other. More often than not, she had one or more of her grandkids by her side helping her. She spent her days teaching them the ins and outs of gardening, walking with them as they rode their bikes and many, many other fun activities. She always looked forward to spending time with each one and it brought her so much joy.
Nancy is survived by her children; Elizabeth Medina and her husband Emmanuel of Tilton; Richard Cullen Jr, and his wife Shannon of Laconia; Jason Cullen and his wife Rebekah of Belmont; Deborah Hamlin of Florida, and her grandchildren, Olivia and Meredyth Robillard, Richard and Kyle Cullen, Noah and Natalee Cullen; Steven Drouin, Nathan and Sarah Moes, Kenny and Kristen Hamlin, and her two sisters, Cynthia Cadle and Sheila Cromer. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Richard Cullen Sr; her son Kenneth Hamlin; and her brothers Bernard and Thomas Page.
Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smart Memorial Home, 584 West Main Street, Tilton, NH.
A private burial will take place at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at a later date where she will be laid to rest with her husband Richard Cullen Sr.
