Meredith Ann Stockbridge
Meredith "Merry" A. (Hughes) Stockbridge, 71, a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region, died on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Glencliff Nursing Home in Glencliff after a long illness. Merry was born on December 18, 1946 in Meredith, the daughter of Francis M. and Elizabeth A. (Lyons) Hughes. She was educated in the Laconia High School. Merry liked to play board games, loved listening to country music and was a huge Elvis fan. She enjoyed taking walks and family gatherings. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Dawn Hughes, who she was extremely devoted to and spent a great deal of time with. Her family includes her three sisters, Jean Caram of Lexington, MA, Kimberly and her husband Glen Masters of Concord and Holly and her husband Rodney Marston of Gilmanton Iron Works. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
According to Merry's wishes a graveside service will be held on June 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Union Cemetery in Laconia.
