Tilton Mary Ann (Girard) Perrin Mary Ann Perrin, 71, a resident of Tilton since 1966 died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Lakes Region General Hospital. Mary was born in Laconia, October 12, 1944, daughter of the late, Robert and Elizabeth (Sanborn) Girard. Mary spent her youth in Laconia and was a graduate of Laconia High School and Plymouth State College. She taught at Paul Smith School in Franklin and Ashland Elementary School. She was an avid reader and New England Patriots fan. Mary enjoyed camping, the outdoors and entertaining at her camp on Lake Pemigewasset and her summer home on Cape Cod. She especially enjoyed being a Mom. She always had an interesting sense of humor. Mary was a member of the Tilton-Northfield United Methodist Church in Tilton. Mary was predeceased by a brother, Henry Girard and her husband of 43 years, Ted Perrin who died in 2009. She leaves behind her children Russ E. Perrin and his wife Laura of Alton Bay, NH, Donna E. Del Trecco and her husband Mike of Essex, VT and Janice E. Perkins and her husband Billy of Dennis, MA., her grandchildren Austin and Justin Perrin, Jeffrey and Jillian Del Trecco, Baxter, Ivy and Olive Perkins, her great grandchild Alexis Perrin, her brother and sister in-laws, David and Susan Perrin of Contoocook and her niece Casey Knight and nephew David Perrin and many long-time friends. She also leaves her longtime companion, Pretzel, her cat. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 West Main St.) in Tilton. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, the 28th, at the T-N United Methodist Church, 400 West Main St., Burial will be in Park Cemetery in Tilton. Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Mary's name to Central NH VNA and Hospice, 780 North Main St., Laconia, NH 03246.
