Marjorie L. (Tanguay) Bennett

Franklin Marjorie L. (Tanguay) Bennett Marjorie L. Bennett, 95, a resident of Franklin for over 63 years, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home following a period of failing health. She was born in Laconia, November 30, 1919, daughter of Alfred and Hazel (Durham) Tanguay. Marjorie spent her youth and schooled in Laconia. She was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church of St. Gabriel Parish in Tilton. She was predeceased by an infant son, Bruce Bennett in 1964, her husband, Harold I. Bennett in 1995, son Paul A. Bennett and sister, Gladys Barnes, both in 2011 . Her family includes, Two sons; Harold J. Bennett of Chichester Richard N. Bennett of Franklin Daughter; Nan Legare of Franklin Seven grandchildren Nieces and nephews A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the family lot in Franklin Cemetery in Franklin. Arrangements are under the care of the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home in Tilton.
