Marilyn J. Richardson, of Gilmanton died Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Harris Hill Center in Concord. She was the wife of John Richardson who preceded her, December 29, 2016.

She was born in Melrose, MA on August 25, 1944, Daughter of the late Robert M. and Helen (Dunn) Corson. She grew up in Boston's West Roxbury and moved to Concord in 1952. She graduated from Concord High School in 1965 and Boston College in 1969, where she played varsity basketball.

After their marriage in 1971, Mr. and Mrs. Richardson moved to Nashua, North Conway, Littleton and finally Gilmanton.

She worked as an accountant throughout her career. Mrs. Richardson lived in Gilmanton, NH for the last 36 years. She loved New Hampshire enjoying the nature; belonged to many wildlife organizations and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her brother, Richard A. Corson and his wife Dalane, of Tampa, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Sue Corson of Littleton, MA; four nephews: Shane A. Corson, and her two grand-nephews/nieces, Jett (9) and Skye (6) Corson residing in Florida; Adam R. Corson, residing in California; John R. Corson Jr. residing in Littleton, MA; and Marc J. Corson in Oregon and her cousin and dear friend, Joyce Bailey of Franklin.

According to Marilyn's wishes, there will be no services held.  Burial will be held privately for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Marilyn, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr. #110, Bedford, NH 03110.
