Marguerite A. (Moreau) Doucette

Marguerite A. Doucette, 70, a resident of Northfield for the past 20 years passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She was born on September 24, 1951 in Dover the daughter of the late Raymond and Rachel (Fournier) Moreau.

Marguerite was employed as a bookkeeper for the Penny Pitou Travel Agency in Laconia for many years. She later worked in the Registry of Deeds for Merrimack County.

She had many enjoyments in her life including reading, cooking, latch hooking, diamond art and putting puzzles together. She loved to travel to the ocean and going on cruises but her family was the most important thing in her life.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lester P. Doucette of Northfield, her two daughters; Kimberly Sanborn and her husband William of Tilton and Christine LeBlanc and her husband Timothy of Milton, her son; Timothy Doucette of Northfield and her 7 grandchildren; Olivia, Hannah, Matthew, Heidi, Isabelle, Chloe and Landen. She is also survived by her 3 sisters; Veronica Rudzinski of Weirs Beach, Joann Rohde of Dover and Mary Henry of Rochester, her 4 brothers; Raymond Moreau of Brushton, NY, Roland Moreau of Middleton, Ronald Moreau of Wakefield and Robert Moreau of Rochester and also by her mother in law; Gloria Doucette of Belmont and her sister in law; Linda Nelson of Belmont.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul Church of St. Gabriel Parish in Franklin. Burial will follow the mass in St. John Cemetery in Tilton.
