Franklin Lorraine Elizabeth (Hannan) Harbour Lorraine E. Harbour, 80, a lifelong resident of Franklin, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen surrounded by her loving family, following a brief period of failing health. Lorraine was born in Franklin, August 8, 1935, youngest daughter of Robert B. Hannan Sr. and Hazel M. (Whitten) Hannan. She attended schools in Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1953. Lorraine worked for over 20 years as a waitress at Mr. D's Restaurant in Franklin and later worked for 10 years in customer service at BJ's Wholesale Club in Tilton. She was a former member of the Shaw, Martin, Beaupre Auxiliary and Emblem Club in Franklin. A soft spoken lady, Lorraine was known for her beautiful smile and kindness toward others. She so enjoyed music and dancing over the years. During dancing activities at the nursing home she was always one of first on the dance floor, even at times, in her wheelchair. She enjoyed working with crafts at the nursing home and excelled with her new artistic abilities with painting. Lorraine was predeceased by her brothers, Ralph, Robert Jr. and Donald Hannan; sisters, Alice Kingsbury, Avis Folsom and Ruby Hilliker. She was also predeceased by the love of her life, her husband of 60 years, Joseph W. Harbour who died in 2015. She leaves, daughters, Catherine Harbour of Phoenix, Arizona and Cheryl Carignan (husband David) and Diann Judkins of Franklin. Grandchildren, Michael Judkins, Brittany Judkins and Zachary Harbour; great-grandchildren, Niko and Jax Harbour; sisters, Jean Chase of Boscawen and Margaret Dascoulias of Franklin. Numerous generations of nieces and nephews Calling hours will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 West Main St.) in Tilton. A committal prayer service will be held, Friday, June 17th at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 D. W. Highway in Boscawen.
