It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lois J. Wilson, of Franklin, NH, on Monday, September 16, 2024. Lois was born on Saturday, September 3, 1938, in Jamestown, NY, to the late Robert W. Norell and Marjorie (Hale) Norell.
Lois dedicated her life to caring for others as a compassionate nurse at the Laconia Clinic in Laconia, NH. Her steadfast commitment to her patients and community was unparalleled, and her nurturing spirit touched many lives over the years.
Lois was the beloved wife of the late Donald L. Wilson. She is survived by her loving family, including her sons Michael Glines and his wife Anne of Sanbornton, and Roger Glines and his wife Terri of Tilton; her brother William Norell and his wife Ursula of Gilmanton; and her precious granddaughters, Katie Wagstaffe and Jessica Glines. Lois was also the cherished great-grandmother to Addison Wagstaffe and Avery Wagstaffe, who brought her immense joy and pride.
A private graveside service will be held in the Smith Meeting House Cemetery in Gilmanton, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lois may be made to the Franklin VNA and Hospice, 75 Chestnut St., Franklin, NH 03235. Your generous contributions will serve as a testament to the kindness and generosity she exhibited throughout her life.
Lois's presence will be deeply missed, but her enduring love and dedication will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
