Linda Kay (Biegler) Girtman, 61, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Lakes�Region General�Hospital in Laconia, New Hampshire, surrounded by her loving family, due to complications from cancer. She battled breast cancer so bravely and fiercely with all her might. Linda�is predeceased by�her mother, Elida (Christman) Biegler , father, Raymond Biegler Sr., and sister Cathy Beswick. She is also predeceased by 2 grandchildren. Linda�is survived by�her�loving�husband , Herbert Girtman Sr., of�40�years. Linda�will forever be remembered by�her children, Herbert Girtman Jr and girlfriend, Kelly Ann Clausen, of Rumford ME, Roy and Irene Girtman of El Monte CA., Tammy Girtman of Clinton NC, Virgil Haas of Peru ME, Patricia and husband, Richard Wallin, of Tucson AZ, Rosa (Haas) and husband, Scott Malloch, of Franklin NH, Raymond Girtman Sr and fianc� Jennifer Safford, of Franklin NH, and Ben Girtman, of Franklin NH. Linda had 33 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and one very special great grandbaby boy due in November 2016. Linda�s siblings include Cathy (deceased) and husband, Ed Beswick, of Atlanta MI, Sandra and husband, Michael Janowick, of Pomona CA, Raymond Biegler and wife, Elaine, of Pomona CA, Marie Dooley and long time partner, John Knapp, of Railroad Flats CA, Pat and husband, Wes Hart, of Manteca CA, Debbie Clark of Victorville CA, and James Biegler of Lodi CA. Linda is also remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Linda�was born in�Aberdeen SD on August 24, 1954. She attended Tokay High School in Lodi, CA. Linda was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 488, out of Lodi, CA. Linda worked several jobs through her lifetime. She was most proud of her job being mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Linda was the matriarch of her family. She was the rock that grounded her family, the glue that held them together, and the light that led their path. Linda was known for her infectious laugh and sense of humor. She loved to make people laugh. She was a very generous, loving, and caring soul that took in many children who came to call her mom and gram. Whether it be an ear to listen, a much needed hug or laugh, a place to sleep, or another place set at the table, Linda always made sure there was enough. A celebration of Linda�s life will be announced at a later date by her family.
