Dunbarton Lillon Mudgett Walker Lillon M. Walker, 79, a resident of Pine Rock Manor in Warner since 2011, died there Monday, November 9, 2015 following a lengthy illness. Lillon was born in Dunbarton, July 17, 1936, daughter of the late Ralph and Reba (Sawyer) Walker. She attended school in Dunbarton and Concord. She lived most of her life in Dunbarton, working for many years as a cleaner at the old NH Highway Hotel. Prior to moving to Pine Rock Manor she had lived in Concord for several years at Pleasant View Retirement Community. She is survived by her brother, James Walker of Tilton, and her nephew, Phillip Walker, of Dunbarton. Lillon loved the outdoors, gardening, and local history. She possessed a green thumb, and a great deal of skill braiding rugs, caning chairs, and many other traditional New England handicrafts. Many knew her as an avid contra dancer and outing club enthusiast. She attended St. John Episcopal Church in Dunbarton for decades. Over the years she was active with the Pomona Grange, Concord Outing Club and Dunbarton Historical Society. Burial will be in the family lot in the North Dunbarton Cemetery in Dunbarton. Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Lillon's name to St. John�s Episcopal Church, Dunbarton.
