Lilla "Sis" (Quimby) Wiggins

Hill Lilla "Sis" (Quimby) Wiggins Lilla "Sis" Q. Wiggins, 84, of Hill, died Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Peabody Home in Franklin following a period of failing health. Lilla was born on the Quimby Farm in Hill, March 10, 1933, daughter of Ai and Annie (Matthews) Quimby. She had resided in Hill all of her life. She attended schools in Hill and was a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1951. She was a member of the Sawhegenit Chapter #52, Order of the Eastern Star in Bristol since 1976. She worked for several years in the food service department at Franklin Regional Hospital. She later was employed with the International Packing Corporation and Freudenburg NOK in Bristol from 1980 until her retirement in 1996. Lilla was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Wiggins who died in 1991. She leaves, Her daughter, Lisa A. Corneau and her husband, Dennis Hughes of Woodland Park, Colorado Her son, Charles L. Corneau of Franklin Nieces and nephews. It was Lilla's request that calling hours not be held. Burial and services for her immediate family will be private. Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Lilla's name to the Franklin VNA and Hospice, 75 Chestnut St., Franklin, NH 03235. Assisting Lilla's family is the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home in Tilton.
