With a heavy heart, we are saddened to announce the passing of our dear Leigh (Thomson) Liberatore.
Leigh was born on August 23rd, 1955 in South Weymouth, MA. She will be remembered as a kind, generous, spirited woman whose laughter filled every room. She had a rare gift for making people feel truly seen and deeply valued.
She and her husband, David, were lifelong friends who shared 12 amazing years together with 6 years of marriage. Their bond was rooted in love, friendship and a deep understanding of one another.
She found great happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved baking for the people she cared about, always remembering their favorites. She was an avid reader, especially on vacation, where she could often be found finishing a book a day. The ocean was her favorite place to be, a source of peace and comfort that reflected her calm and generous spirit. Her and Dave spent every moment they could laying in the sand at Hampton Beach. When not at the beach, you could find them traveling to cities Leigh only once visited in her books. All travels always passed through Savannah, her favorite city and ended visiting her beloved granddaughter, Hadley Mae, in St. Augustine, Florida.
She is survived by her husband, David, her step-son Carl, Nikki and Hadley Mae Liberatore. Her mother, Leah Thomson of Bradenton, Florida , her brother, David Thomson and his partner Laurie Dickerson of Hill, NH and many nieces, nephews and lifelong family and friends.
She is predeceased by Fred Thomson, her father and Mark Thomson, her brother.
As per Leigh's wishes there will not be any services at this time, a celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
