Lawrence M. Shaw Sr.

Grafton Lawrence M. Shaw Sr. Lawrence M. Shaw Sr. , 77, a resident of Grafton, died Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was born in Concord, May 3, 1937, son of Francis and Margaret (Danish) Shaw. He spent his youth in Franklin and attended schools there while living with his grandparents. Most of his later life was spent in the Tilton-Northfield areas. He moved to Grafton 10 years ago. Lawrence retired from the Arwood Corp. in Northfield following 25 years of employment. He spent as much time as he could with his favorite pastimes of hunting and fishing. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and served on the U. S. S. Tidewater. Lawrence was a member of the American Legion Post # 49 in Northfield. His family includes, His wife of 44 years: Linda M. (Griffin) Shaw of Grafton Sons: Lawrence M. Shaw Jr. of Grafton Shawn M. Shaw of Grafton Daughter: Tina M. Clark of Franklin Three grandchildren Brothers: David Shaw of Northfield Kenneth Shaw of Danbury Sisters; Lillian Howlett of Springfield Alice LaChance of Bristol Nieces and nephews A committal service with honors will be held Thursday, September 25th at 3:00 P.M. at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Arrangements are under the care of the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home in Tilton.
