Kenneth Lee Blunden

Northfield Kenneth Lee Blunden Kenneth L. Blunden, 75, a longtime resident of Northfield died suddenly at his home, Monday, April 11, 2016. Ken was born in Laconia, September 10, 1940, son of Alven and Mildred (Cass) Blunden. He was brought up by his sister and her husband, Alma and Sam Fitts. He spent his youth and schooled in Laconia. He was a graduate of Laconia High School , class of 1960. Ken had resided in the Tilton-Northfield areas for over 50 years. He was employed at Webster Valve-Watts Regulators in Franklin for over 48 years. He retired as second shift supervisor. He was a former member of the Laconia Rod and Gun Club. Ken was predeceased by his wife of 38 years, Jeannette Marie Rose (Jewell) Blunden , April 13, 2009. His family includes, two stepsons, Maurice W. Cote and his wife Barbara of Northfield Michael P. Cote and his wife Nancy of Texas two stepdaughters, Anna M. Gilbert and fianc� Al Williams of Franklin Sandra M. Smith and husband Brian of Mars Hill, Maine seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren Numerous nieces and nephews and grand and great-grand nieces and nephews He also leaves his beloved dog, Missy Calling hours will be held Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road, (584 West Main St.) in Tilton. A private burial will be held for Ken's family in Park Cemetery in Tilton where he will rest with his wife, Jeannette.
