Hill Keith E. Bean Keith E. Bean, 88, a longtime resident of Hill died Wednesday, January 22, 2014.�Keith was born in Concord,�August 9, 1925, son of Christopher and Doris (Rogers) Bean.�He spent his youth and schooled in Bristol.�Keith had been a resident of Hill for over 60 years. He worked as a mechanic, served as Hill�s Fire Chief for many years, worked as a truck driver and was formerly Hill�s Road Agent. He also served as a Hill Water Commissioner.�Prior to his retirement Keith was employed at IPC in Bristol.�Keith enjoyed spending time in his weed free 110 x 90 vegetable garden for many years.�He served as a Sergeant with the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a former member of Odd Fellows. Keith was predeceased by a daughter, Sally Jean Bean in 1979 and his wife of 55 years, Jean Louise (Morrill) Bean who died in 2011.�He leaves, A daughter, Gail M. Krauz and her husband, Robert of Hill Brothers: Albert Bean of Alexandria Wilfred Bean of Georgia Nieces and nephews According to Keith�s wishes there are no public calling hours planned.�A graveside service will be held in the spring with military honors at Pleasant HillCemetery in Hill.
