Joseph L. Nelson

Franklin Joseph Leon Nelson Joseph L. Nelson, 24, a resident of Franklin for most of his life died Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Concord Hospital following injuries related to an automobile accident in Canterbury. Joe was born in Franklin, November 13, 1989, son of Gary E. Nelson Sr. and Tina (LaQuire) Nelson. He was a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 2008. He went on to study at UNOH, (University of Northwestern Ohio), graduating with Associate Degrees in Automotive Technology and High Performance Motor sports. Joe worked with his grandfather in construction and auto repair. Joe was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. His love of motors started at an early age in his grandfather's garage. His family includes his parents of Franklin, fianc�e Rhonda Thibeault and sons, Dylan and Aiden Thibeault of Ashland. His brother, SSGT Gary E. Nelson, Jr. USAF and his wife Franchesca of Stoughton, England, his sisters, Tammy Nelson of Shelby, TN and Katie Nelson of Franklin. His maternal grandparents, Joseph and Sheila (Orcutt) LaQuire of Franklin. Aunts, uncles, five nieces, one nephew and cousins. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 P. M. at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 West Main Street) in Tilton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Church of St. Gabriel Parish, School St. in Franklin. Burial will follow in the family lot at Park Cemetery in Tilton. Arrangements are under the care of the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home of Tilton. Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Joe�s name to the Huot Technical Center in Laconia, 345 Union Ave., Laconia, NH 03246.
