Joseph G. Drago
Joseph G. Drago, 69, of Sanbornton, NH, formerly of Medford, MA and Melrose, MA, died on Friday, July 31, 2020 at his home in Sanbornton following a period of failing health. Joseph was the son of the late Emilio and Josephine Drago of Medford, MA. He was the beloved father of Matthew Drago and his partner Renee DeFilippo of Saugus, MA, Jamie Drago and her partner Ames Slate of Saugus, MA and Allison Dolan and her husband Sean of Peabody, MA. Cherished "Grandpa Joe" to Makayla, Dominic, Mia, Vincent, and Mariana. He leaves behind his loving companion Patricia Joyner and her children, Michael Joyner and his wife Jamie of Salem, NH, David Joyner and his wife Jessica of Everett, MA and Derek Joyner and his wife Samantha of Everett, MA. Also leaving behind his little dog "Ellie". Dear beloved friend and former wife, Marion Drago of Saugus, MA. Retired employee of Arlington Housing Authority and former owner of Community Home Improvements of Melrose, MA. At Joseph's request, funeral services will be private.
In honor of his memory, those wishing and able to may send donations to the MSPCA.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
