Hill Jerry Lee Whitworth Jerry L. Whitworth, 62, a resident of Hill died suddenly at his home, Friday, October 14, 2016 following a period of failing health. Jerry was born in Springfield, Missouri, May 2, 1954, son of the late, Lynn and Laverne (Moses) Whitworth. He spent his youth and schooled in Springfield, graduating from Springfield High School. He served honorably in the U. S. Army from 1972 until his discharge as an SP4 in 1975. Jerry continued his education in Trade School, graduating as a computer programmer. He continued working with various companies in the East as a programmer until his health began to fail. Over the years, Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting; he also had a great fancy for old cars and technology in general. He leaves his best canine friend, "Buddy" who was usually at his side. Jerry leaves, his companion and wife of 26 years, Charlene B. (Reynolds) Whitworth of Hill; sons, Dana L. Andrews of Franklin and Brandon M. Whitworth of Henniker; daughters, Jennifer L. Andrews of Hill and Melanie L. Harmon of Concord, VT; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson; brothers, Joe, Jim and John and sisters, Judith and Joy; A graveside committal with military honors will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 12:00 P.M.�at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery , 110 D. W. Highway in Boscawen. Assisting with arrangements is the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home of Tilton. Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Jerry's name to the Franklin Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 265, Franklin, NH 03235-0265.
