Jerome J. Lagace, 82, a former resident of Gilford and Concord, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2024 at The Golden Crest in Franklin, where he had been a resident since September of 2022. He was born in New Brunswick, Canada on January 2, 1942 the son of the late Gabriel and Antoinette (Caron) Lagace.
Jerome was a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He was employed by New Hampshire Ball Bearing in Laconia for 34 years, retiring as a Master Scheduler. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved to go to the ocean and spend time on the beach.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years; Colombe R. (LeBlanc) Lagace of Franklin, his three sons; John Lagace and his wife Cary of Clearwater, Florida, James Lagace and his wife Amber of Loudon, NH and Michael Lagace and his wife Samantha of Keene, NH and his seven grandchildren; Samantha Roddy and her husband Curtis, Andrew; Clinton and his wife Sydney, Cameron, Connor; Gabriel and Amber Lagace and their mother Song. He is also survived by his two sisters; Susan Ouellette and her husband Raymond of Bristol, CT and Mary Anne Skelly and her husband Don of Feeding Hills, MA and his three brothers; Gerard Lagace and his wife Carol of Florida, Gerald of Bristol, CT, Norman Lagace and his wife Sue of Bristol, CT and many nieces and nephews.
According to Jerome’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services held.
