Ogden, Utah Jason L. Hirtle Jason L. Hirtle, 34, formerly of Northfield, NH passed away suddenly at his home in Ogden, Utah, May 9, 2014. Jason was born in Concord, NH, November 19, 1979 and grew up in Northfield. He was a 1998 graduate of the Winnisquam Regional High School in Tilton. Following graduation Jason entered the United States Air Force. In his 14 years of service he was stationed at several US Air Force bases as well as Saudi Arabia, Korea, Iraq and Italy. The most recent station was at Hill AFB in Utah. Jason was honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant in 2012 due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident and maintained his residence in Ogden. Jason loved motorcycles and was a rider instructor for both the military and civilian courses. He also loved mountain biking, skydiving and scuba diving. Jason is survived by, His 15 year old son, Devin Hirtle of Abilene, TX His parents, Leamon and Meredith (Sherburne) Hirtle of Northfield, NH His sister, Rebecca Butler and her husband Craig of Laconia, NH Calling hours are planned for Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 3:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 West Main St.) in Tilton, NH. Interment, with military honors, will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Monday, May 19, 2014 at 1:30 P. M. Jason�s family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made in his name to the, Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS, 66675. Jason was an alumni of this Project.
