Life Legacy Franklin Jane E. (Yacopucci) Cameron Jane E. Cameron, 67, a lifelong resident of Franklin died at her home Wednesday, September 4, 2013 following a period of failing health. Jane was born in Franklin, November 8, 1945, daughter of the late Roger B. Yacopucci Sr. and Kathryn (Murtaugh) Yacopucci. She was educated at St. Mary School in Franklin and later graduated from Franklin High School, class of 1963. She enjoyed her involvement with the High School Band. Jane graduated from Plymouth State College in Plymouth, graduating with her degree in Elementary Education. She later took courses in accounting at Franklin Pierce College in Concord. She worked for over six years in the Franklin Office with the New HampshireWelfare Program. An active and longtime member of the BPW she held the chair of secretary for many years and was the club delegate for state and national conferences. For many years she was a substitute teacher for the Franklin and Concord School District and was a tutor. She and her late husband enjoyed their numerous bus trips while active with the Franklin Senior Citizen Programs. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. She was a longtime active parishioner of St. Paul Church in Franklin. In early years she was involved with CYO. In addition to her parents, Jane was predeceased by her husband, William B. Cameron who died in 2006. Her family includes, Her brothers: Roger B. Yacopucci Jr. of Leominster, MA James Yacopucci of Rochester, NY Sister: Judith Merrill of Auburn, ME Step son, Peter Cameron, step daughters, Kathleen Cameron And Jennifer Smith Step grandchildren Jane enjoyed and loved her numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will not be held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 10:00 A. M. at St. Gabriel Parish-St. Paul Church in Franklin. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M., September 17th at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Arrangements are under the care of the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home in Tilton.
