Jacqueline "Jackie" Elaine Durand

Tilton Jacqueline "Jackie" Elaine (Chamberlain) Durand, 70, a resident of Tilton for most of her life died ,Thursday evening, October 29, 2015 at the CRVNA Hospice House in Concord following a short illness Born in Laconia, May 9, 1945, she was the daughter of Jack and Isabelle (Simmons) Chamberlain. She had been a lifelong resident of Tilton and graduated from the Tilton-Northfield High School, class of 1961. A homemaker, Jackie also enjoyed working at Dunkin Donuts and Wal-Mart in Tilton for several years. Jackie especially enjoyed time with her granddaughter Kelsey Durand. She was predeceased by her father Jack Chamberlain. Her family includes, her husband of 40 years, John R. Durand of Tilton; her son Brian Durand, his wife Jessica, and their eleven year old daughter Kelsey, of Tilton, her mother, Isabelle (Simmons) Stanley of Franklin; sisters, Linda Wilcox of Arizona, Ann Keefe of Franklin, and Cindy Kimball of Moultonborough; and her brother, David Chamberlain of Hopkinton Numerous nieces and nephews Following the wishes of Jackie, there are no calling hours or formal services planned. Burial will be private for her family. Arrangements are under the care of the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home in Tilton. Jackie's family will have a private celebration of her life at their convenience.
