Tilton, NH Gerald "Jerry" P. Boudreau Gerald P. Boudreau, 90, a lifelong resident of Tilton died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Franklin Regional Hospital following a period of failing health. Jerry was born in Tilton, October 14, 1925, son of Albert L. and Mary Ann (Deshais) Boudreau. He schooled in Tilton, graduating from Tilton-Northfield High School and later graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1951 with a degree in Building Construction. Jerry was an accomplished self-employed carpenter. Prior to his retirement he was employed for many years in the maintenance department at the Merrimack County Nursing Home. He especially enjoyed the outdoors and working in his garden at home. Jerry served in the US Army in World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. Jerry was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church of St. Gabriel Parish in Tilton for many years. His family includes, His wife of 65 years, Rita L. (Beliveau) Boudreau of Tilton daughters, Janet Boudreau of Concord Sr. Mary of the Immaculate Heart (Diane Boudreau) West Springfield, MA son, Morris Boudreau and his wife Kathy of Northfield two grandchildren, Eric and Renee Boudreau sisters, Rose Tilton of Wilmot and Rita Folsom of Franklin Nieces and nephews According to his wishes, there are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Chestnut Street in Tilton. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Tilton. Arrangements are under the care of the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home of Tilton. Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Jerry's name to the Franklin Regional Hospital Auxiliary, Franklin Regional Hospital, 15 Aiken Ave, Franklin, NH 03235.
