Gary Ronald Kenneson, Jr., 42, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2025, in Raymond, New Hampshire.
Born on June 2, 1982, in Laconia, NH, Gary was known for his quick wit, big heart, and a sense of humor that could light up any room. As a child, he loved taking apart electronics just to see how they worked—though they didn’t always go back together in working order until he was a bit older. That curiosity and determination stayed with him throughout his life.
Gary grew up in Northfield and Bow, New Hampshire, and spent his early years working alongside his father at Concord Tire and Auto, where he developed a lifelong passion for mechanics. He enjoyed tinkering with small engines, collecting unique finds, and most of all, riding his motorcycle—something that brought him peace.
He was mischievous at heart and had a love for adventure, whether it was four-wheeling, dirt biking, or snowboarding. Gary was often the one who’d light the fireworks—sometimes too early, and too loud, but always with a grin. His playful energy and fearless spirit were a big part of what made him unforgettable to those around him.
He spent several years living in Florida with his late wife, Nicole Kenneson. Her passing was a profound loss in Gary’s life and marked a difficult chapter that followed. Still, those who knew him best remember his sharp humor, restless energy, and the deep connection he still held for those he loved.
He is survived by his three sons, Troy, Clayton, and Kashton; his mother, Kathy French Kenneson; his sister, Kerri Kenneson; his grandmother, Jeannine Kenneson, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Gary Kenneson Sr., and his wife Nicole.
Calling hours will be held Friday, June 6th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Smart Memorial Home in Tilton, NH. A graveside service will follow on Sunday, June 8th at 11:00 AM at Park Cemetery in Tilton, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a GoFundMe established to help cover funeral expenses, with any remaining funds to benefit his children.
