Life Legacy Franklin Gail Elizabeth (Winters) MacIver Gail E. MacIver, 70, of Franklin, died at her home Monday, February 11, 2013 following a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Gail�s family was at her side. Gail was born in Lawrence, MA, March 31, 1942, daughter of the late Augustine and Gertrude (Beaumont) Winters. She had resided in Franklin for most of her life and attended St. Mary School and later Franklin High School. She worked for many years in area factories and always dreamed of becoming a nurse. Later in life she schooled to become an LNA and prior to retirement worked at the Peabody Home in Franklin, caring for others. She volunteered with her sister Valerie at the Community Center in Bristol. In addition to her parents Gail was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Angus E. MacIver who died in 2010. Her family includes, Three daughters: Bridget Kourtis of Concord Lynn Hardy of Franklin Heather Federico of Medford, MA Her son: Mark MacIver of Puerto Rico Seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren Sisters: Valerie L. Cilley of Hill Lee Ann Forsyth of Franklin Brother: Michael A. Winters of Frankliin Nieces and Nephews According to Gail�s wishes, there are no public calling hours or services planned. Gail will be buried with her husband Angus at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the care of the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home in Tilton. Contributions in Gail�s name may be made to the New Hampshire Food Bank, Dept F, P. O. Box 9510, Manchester, NH 03108-9510.
