Edith Marie Hudson

Edith "Edie" M. Hudson, 71, a longtime resident of Franklin passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Mountain Ridge Center in Franklin.  She was born on October 16, 1949 in Hempstead, NY the daughter of Edward Bandler.

Edith was raised in Long Island. She moved to Contoocook where she lived for 6 years. She relocated to Franklin, living there for the last 42 years.

Edie was employed as a store clerk at AD&G for several years and most recently for Willow Hill Food and Beverage both in Franklin.  She was always there to greet you with a smile.

Edie will always be known as someone that would give you the shirt off her back and "adopted" many children over the years that became part of her family and never left.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Arnold Hudson who died on July 4, 2003 and her brother David Bandler.  Her family includes:

Her daughter, Eva Jarvis     of      Franklin

Her three sons:   Peter E. Hudson          of      Franklin

Paul J.  Hudson           of      Franklin

Jeffrey Downs               of      Franklin

Her grandson, Jacob Bowie          of      Franklin

And her granddaughter, Hannah Hudson      of      Franklin

Daughter in law, Heidi Bowie       of      Franklin

As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours held.  A gathering will be held at her home for her family and close friends at a later date.

Memorial donations in memory of Edie, may be offered to the Franklin Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 265, Franklin, NH 03235.
