Dennis Michael Hicks

Sanbornton Dennis Michael Hicks Jr, 38, died April 6, 2015 after a courageous fight against Ewing sarcoma. Dennis had a great passion for fishing, boating and water sports. He was well known for having the loudest cheer at his friends and children's sporting events. Dennis loved the quiet country life with the odd mix of animals he and his wife raised. He was a respected diesel mechanic, employed at Winnipesaukee Truck in Belmont NH; his second home and family. Dennis's memories will carry on through his wife Jennifer (Tobin) Hicks, his son, daughter and step daughters, brother Jay Souza and wife Amanda and children, his parents Dennis and Donna Hicks and Bill and Faith Tobin. Dennis's friends and family will miss his amazing smile and blue eyes, his contagious laugh, his energetic spirit, his hard work ethics, his crazy dancing and most of all his courage. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 West Main St.) in Tilton, NH. A private service will be held later in the spring.
