Northfield Conrad "CR" Robert Noyes Conrad R. Noyes, 66, a resident of Northfield, died at his home Thursday, February 11, 2016 following a period of failing health, with family and friends at his side. CR was born in Franklin, December 31, 1949, son of the late Hilton F. and Natalie L. (Dorval) Noyes. He had lived in the Tilton-Northfield areas for most of his life. He attended schools in Tilton and graduated from the Tilton-Northfield High School, class of 1967. He later studied at the Hesser College in Manchester for two years. Prior to retiring Conrad worked at the John Mansville, Quin T and 3 M in Tilton for over 18 years. He served with the U. S. Air Force for four years as a Radio Messenger and was discharged in 1974 with the rank of Sergeant. Conrad was a member of the Sons of Veterans of Foreign War, VFW Post # 1698 in Franklin. CR was an avid Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan. He enjoyed spending as much time as possible outdoors, hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, Conrad was predeceased by an infant brother, Marvin Dorval. He leaves, his daughter, Sirena R. Noyes and her fianc�, Mark Bitetto of Sanbornton brothers, Ernest F. Noyes and his wife Barbara of Concord Douglas E. Noyes of Ashland Kenneth W. Noyes of Tilton Murray B. Noyes of Northfield Nieces and nephews and his special friend and longtime companion Happy, his beagle Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 West Main St.) in Tilton. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 D.W. Highway in Boscawen with burial following.
