Brian L. Young

Brian L. Young, born on January 3, 1962, passed away early June 9, 2025, at the age of 63. Son of Bette and John F Young, Brian was a devoted son, loyal friend, and passionate outdoorsman, Brian lived a life full of adventure, love, and integrity. An avid hunter and dedicated snowmobile rider, Brian found joy and freedom in the wilderness. Whether navigating snowy trails or chasing the thrill of the open road on his motorcycle, he was always in his element when surrounded by nature and the hum of an engine. Brian was not only known for his adventurous spirit, but also for his deep commitment to family and friends. He is survived by his only son Patrick Young, and his siblings Lisa, John and Michael. His warmth, strength, and steady presence touched the lives of many, and his legacy will continue in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of sharing in his life. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at Franklin Cemetery at Thompson Park, on June 21st, Saturday at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by enjoying the great outdoors, sharing a story, or taking a ride in his spirit.
