Northfield, New Hampshire – Brian Thomas Butt, 45, of Northfield, passed away on
Monday, September 2, 2024, in Northfield, New Hampshire. Brian was born on January
2, 1979, in Laconia, New Hampshire, the beloved son of Lawrence and Kathryn Butt.
A graduate of Winnisquam Regional High School in Tilton, NH, Class of 1997. Brian
went on to pursue his education at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Chicago, IL,
earning an associate’s degree. He later managed the family business, Floor Show
Corporation in Tilton, NH, for many years and, more recently, worked as sub-contractor
to a full-service property management company, working up and down the New
Hampshire coastline.
Brian was a passionate New England Patriots fan and embraced life through hobbies
and interests. He loved gardening, and cooking, especially during the annual Christmas
Eve “Feast of the Seven Fish.” He was an artist with a passion for photography and
fractal woodburning art. Brian also found joy in Harley Davidson rides and cherished
family vacations. He was an outdoorsman who loved friend-filled bonfires and fireworks
as well as snowmobiling and fishing, particularly at his family’s land at the river in Bath,
New Hampshire.
Brian’s loving family includes his devoted parents, Lawrence and Kathryn Butt of
Northfield, New Hampshire; his sister, Sarah Delia, and her husband, John, of
Clarkston, Michigan; and his treasured nephews, Cameron and Connor Delia, also of
Clarkston, Michigan. He is also survived by his extended family of Aunts, Uncles,
Cousins, and the brotherhood of his Lambda Epsilon Omega Fraternity.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Maria Butt and Santo
and Thelma Alizio, his Uncle Ronald Bott, and a few of his fellow cousins and friends.
Brian’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in
peace.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
at the Smart Memorial Home, 584 West Main St., Tilton. A Mass of Christian Burial will
be celebrated on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel Parish – St. Paul Church,
106 School St., Franklin with burial in St. John Cemetery in Tilton to follow.
