Benjamin "Ben" I. Evans

Franklin Benjamin I. Evans Benjamin "Ben" I. Evans, 81, a resident of Franklin, died on November 11, 2016 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen after a short illness. Benjamin was born in Franklin on November 5, 1935 the son of Benjamin and Stella (Messer) Evans. During the course of Ben's life he was employed as an Auto Mechanic and worked in several machine shops. After retirement he worked for Evans' Tree Service, trimming and logging trees. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His family includes: His daughters: Janet Ellis of Northfield Marlene Clark of New Port Richey, FL Stella Jurentkuff of Manchester His son: Charles Evans of Sanbornton 19 Grandchildren 21 Great Grandchildren Nieces and Nephews According to Benjamin's wishes there are no calling hours planned. A celebration of his life open house will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 6-8PM at his son's home, Charles and Leah Evans, 447 Stage Road, Sanbornton, NH 03269. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Rhoades Cemetery in Alexandria. Those wishing, may make memorial donation's in Ben's name to a charity of one's choice.
