Beatrice Frances (Braley) Calley

Franklin Beatrice Frances (Braley) Calley Beatrice "Bea" F. Calley, 97, a longtime resident of Franklin, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen. Bea was born in Franklin, June 15, 1917, daughter of Chester and Mamie (Breckney) Braley. She attended Franklin Schools. For many years she worked at the former Mica Shop in Franklin and prior to her retirement in 1980 was employed at IPC in Bristol. While active, she was a former member of the Franklin Senior Citizens Club, the Apollo Club and VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post # 1698, all of Franklin. For many years she was an active member of the Franklin Congregational Church. Bea was predeceased by her husband, Hollis W. Calley in 1984. She was also predeceased by, daughters, Beverly Bergeron, son, Ronald Rollins,, half brother, Edward Breckney and brother, Clarence Braley and sister, Alberta Moses and half sister, Lillian Heath. She leaves, daughters, Patricia Hamel and her husband, Felix of Franklin Janet Addison and her husband, James of Franklin Son, Bruce Calley of Nevada Ten grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren Nieces and nephews Calling hours will not be held. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Franklin Cemetery in Franklin. Expressions of Sympathy may be made in Bea's name to either the Franklin Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 75 Chestnut St., Franklin, NH 03235 or to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind, 25 Walker St., Concord, NH 03301.
