Salisbury Barbara Mae (Currier) Glines Barbara Mae Glines, 81, a resident of Salisbury for over fifty years, died Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Concord Hospital following a period of failing health. Barbara was born in Burlington, Vermont, March 1, 1934, daughter of Ralph and Harriett (Williams) Currier. Barbara spent her youth and schooled in Danbury and New Hampton, and prior to moving to Salisbury, with a growing family, lived in Franklin. She was a homemaker. Most important in Barbara's life was spending time with family and friends. She loved the outdoors, flowers, animals and watching the numerous birds she enjoyed feeding. Her family includes, her husband of near 61 years, Clarence F. Glines, daughters, Rosella Grout of Franklin, Bonnie Defosses of Franklin, Thelma Wright of Bristol, Susan Glines Simmons of Barnstead and Pamela Brown of Waterboro, ME. 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. A sister Joan Crockwell of Westfield, MA. Numerous nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 West Main St.) Tilton, NH. A committal service will be held Tuesday, April 21st at 2:00 PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 D. W. Highway in Boscawen. Burial will follow. Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Barbara's name to the New Hampshire Humane Society, P. O. Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247-0572.
