Barbara Victoria (Cella) Barnes

Barbara Victoria Barnes, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026. Born on April 30, 1948, in Matewan, West Virginia, Barbara was the daughter of Louis and Italia "Pino" Cella. She was raised in Natick, Massachusetts, and was preceded in death by her parents and her cherished sister, Kathleen Cella, who passed away in 2009.

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Stanley Barnes. Together they built a life centered on family, love, laughter, and unwavering support. She was a proud mother to Paul Barnes and his wife, Kara, of Dover, New Hampshire, and Kevin Barnes and his wife, Sarah, of Crestwood, Kentucky.

Her greatest joy was being "Noni" to her four beloved grandchildren, Emma, Hayden, Parker, and Easton. They were truly her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

A longtime resident of Sanbornton, New Hampshire, and formerly of Natick, Massachusetts, Barbara embraced life with passion and enthusiasm. She loved music and was an avid attendee of country music concerts. A devoted New England sports fan, she cheered passionately for her favorite teams through every season. She found joy in gardening, baking, crafting, traveling, and spending time by the ocean, a place that always brought her peace and happiness.

Throughout her career, Barbara held numerous positions and enjoyed meeting people wherever she worked. Most recently, she worked at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, a role she truly enjoyed.

Barbara was a proud member of the Sanbornton Historical Society, a joyous Parrot Head, and a survivor of the Route 91 Harvest Festival tragedy in Las Vegas in 2017. She adored her dogs and was known for her frank honesty, quick wit, and wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor that often left family and friends either laughing or rolling their eyes.

Barbara will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. Her strength, resilience, laughter, and boundless love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends for generations to come.
