Armand Robert Therrien, age 88, passed away peacefully on February 22nd at Mass General Hospital in Boston, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Armand was born in Franklin, NH on October 31, 1936, the son of Hermina and Donat Therrien. He graduated from Franklin High School and attended the University of New Hampshire. Following an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force, he married Helen Cullen. They had five children. Over the years, Armand worked for Northeast Airlines, was a detective for the NH State Police, and was a life insurance agent.
Armand is survived by former wife, Helen Therrien, son, Reverend Shawn Therrien, daughters, Susan White (Charlie), Patricia Rollins, Karen Nixon (Biron Bedard), grandchildren, Ian Rollins, Gillian Rollins, Alexandra Nixon and Spencer Nixon.
He is predeceased by his daughter, “Little Helen,” brother, Gerard Therrien, and sisters, Lorette Mello, Doris LaPierre and Jeannette Stavro. and son-in-law Patrick Rollins.
